Douglas Phillips was one of America's top stained glass artists and the only African American glass artist to have a major studio. His studio was in Cleveland, Ohio and opened in 1952. His designs can be found in churches, synagogues, hospitals, chapels, corporate and private collections all over the United States, including England.
